Schenectady is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Schenectady follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The room was super clean. Great location. Friendly staff all around. When we went to use the shower it didn't work, which led us to check out before our scheduled check out time. We did notify the front check in desk, asked if they could do anything for the inconvenience and they said no so that was disappointing. Hopefully they comp for stuff like that when issues occur. Reservation was under my married name Tammy Peterka. Super disappointing considering that we stayed there to gamble and have a nice night out.

We enjoyed our stay here. First thing I noticed was excellent customer service from the front desk staff. Our interactions were minimal, but they seemed to truly enjoy helping us out and making small talk. They offered us each a hot chocolate chip cookie, and I was impressed with that! And it was delicious, lol. Hotel is very clean, as was our room. Nice amenities such as a safe and a walk in shower. We appreciated the free water bottles and mini fridge - perfect for leftovers from Our dinner at Dukes! Four stars instead of 5; in our opinion the mattresses are too hard and somewhat worn, they should be replaced or improved upon. Sheets are the same - very itchy/scratchy sheets. Shower is a little odd, there's no door to close you into the shower, so it's a bit chilly when showering. Also the water pressure could be better (we were on the 5th floor, so that could be why the pressure is lower.) Overall still a good hotel - I would not hesitate to stay again if the mattress and sheets are improved/replaced.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Landing Hotel. Check-in was very easy, we were helped by Averii. She patiently answered all my questions, and was very helpful, she even gave me a warm chocolate chip cookie; which I love cuz I'm a BIG BACK. There was plenty of free parking, the hotel also offers VIP parking for $20, which lets you park directly across from the lobby. But TBH, I was fine with the free parking, it was a short walk to the lobby. The casino is attached to the hotel, but you cannot hear/smell anything from it. The lobby was quiet, and so was our floor. We had a king size bed and a clean room, nice flat screen TV with a beautiful view of the river behind the hotel. The room was very modern looking, and not dusty/old looking. There are plenty of plugs for all your devices, bring the base tho cuz there is no type-C USB charger. Bathroom was really nice too, free soap, conditioner and shampoo in the shower. This hotel, doesn't have a ton of amenities, but I can guarantee you will be comfortable coming here whether you're here for gambling, or just a quick getaway
